Consistent vaginal spotting?

No actual period back yet. On and off for about 8/9 weeks now. No period, hasn't returned since miscarriage 11 weeks ago.

Had DS 10 months ago and periods returned back to normal 7 weeks post birth, despite breastfeeding (still feeding now).

It's pinkish spotting, sometimes red spotting. But never goes into a proper period and no actual 'blood' on its own, as such.

I'm wondering if I should see my GP or if this is a normal part of miscarrying?

I lost twins at 14+6 and periods returned a few weeks later. Similar happened with all my other early miscarriages too. Periods back within a couple of weeks.

I can't help as no direct experience of miscarriage but I would see you GP about it. It's probably completely normal but Google is not your friend when looking up medical info and you end up worrying more. I have however had months of random bleeding as you describe and the doctor and gynaecologist I subsequently saw couldn't find anything specific and said it was likely just hormones settling down. It was over a year after giving birth and my periods had returned ok but bleeding was every few days! It has eventually calmed down. I did go back on the pill though to see if that had any effect on it before seeing gp about it. Might be worth a go?
