Desperately trying to remember the title of a book I loved as a child. Kept getting it out of the library. I enjoyed it when I was about 10/11 and that was late 80s/1990.
It's a ghost story. Main character is a girl, around 13 I think. Family move to a house that used to be a church.

and I think the resolution was the ghost was a girl who had drowned in the lake in Victorian times.
Not much to go on is it?
Similar time period of release as moondial and tom's midnight garden etc but not those. Think it was aimed at 11/12 year olds.
Any thoughts at all?? I'd love to buy it for my niece who is really into ghost stories at the moment.
