Also walked into a shop yesterday that was selling Advent Calendars

I noticed the Christmas channel on the TV this week. DH told me I was being ridiculous, there couldn't possibly be a Christmas channel yet. He was wrong, I was right!

Where i am its particularly cold this year atm and its making me feel wintery early and therefore christmas is coming soon in my head as thats only nice thing about winter!

I’m in New York and the ice rink outside the Rockerfeller is almost ready, it opens next week.

IT'S SEPTEMBER! It was still summer five days ago. Christmas doesn't come straight after summer.

I don't know why it bugs me so much but i think it's because Christmas just stops being a special day with a three months build up. It's just one day. And it's usually boring and Dr Who is always disappointing.

I walked into a garden centre today and the whole place was full of decorations and lights. In September. Sep fucking tember! It ruins the real run up to Christmas as it makes you sick of it before it's even October.
