Laser hair removal - how long did it take you to see results?

I’ve just started and have my first sessions on upper lip, underarms, and full Brazilian.

I was very intrigued when they told me it’s their pain-free laser and then when I yelped in pain to hear her say “Ah if it hurts, you know it’s working well!”

So given that it’s tedious and sometimes painful, how long did it actually take you to achieve noticeable results? Debating doing my legs after this if it’s worthwhile!

I haven't had it done, but I know that IPL is a lot more effective.

Oh good, I’m having IPL. Started a week ago and just waiting to see if the hairs fall out like they said they would.

Fingers crossed! Do you have dark or fair hair? I'm naturally blonde and found a fab deal on groupon but apparently it isn't as effective on blonde :( Let me know how you get on x

Does it leave burn marks and do you have underling hormone issue. This needs to be noted in all questions on hair removal.

I had it 15 years ago when I was single with no children and could afford to really go for it! I had 3 months of treatment spread out and have had no underarm or leg hair for 15 years. Only now has the odd hair started to creep in. Honestly I am the biggest fan and yes....I would ask her to turn it right up so it feels like a hot elastic band being flicked as it was most effective. It was IPL.
