How do you respond to headhunters?

I'm currently employed by a company that I enjoy working for.

There are minor issues that get on my nerves about the company but so far they have been the best company I've worked for.

Head hunters message me every so often and I usually respond to say thank you for the interest but I am not looking to move companies at this moment in time.

However, these have usually been for positions that have required a location move which isn't something I would consider so I've never been interested enough to ask further.

Last night I was contacted and this time it is from a company local to me. The company is larger, I would be doing the exact same thing.

Would you respond with minor interest to find out more?

I don't know if I want to move, I work part time and the company has been good to me, but they get an awful lot from me too. Probably more out of me than they pay for.

They say the grass isn't greener - should I just leave it at that?

You could say that you're happy where you are but would move if another package was sold to you.........................

I say "never say never". I'm in a similar position to you, part time, very easy commute and not actively looking but it doesn't harm to look at other opportunities. You don't have to take it further than asking for the role profile and details of the package.
