To feel proud of myself

I'm a carer to my disabled adult dd for many years. I have been wanting so much for a life where I can work and make new friends and not lead this life I currently am. So I've gone for it and applied for three part time jobs which fit in with my dd care and I've got interviews for all three jobs.

I did not think I would get a interview due to no job references but I explained on my job applications and was truthful and all of them are happy with it.

I have not got the jobs yet but feel uplifted that I have got interviews. Moral of my story is do not doubt yourself as I have done for many years.

Good for you! I'll keep everything crossed for you Smile

Good luck in your interviews, just be yourself - be honest and don't forget to ask questions

Well done!

You are fantastic, and so right to feel pride in yourself.

I hope that you get a call back from an interview, but don't be disheartened if it doesn't happen.
You have been and are doing one of the most important jobs in the world. And would be a credit to any employer.Smile

Thankyou I'll just try my best to get a job and if not offered any of them then I can be happy knowing I tried.

Pinguspaws thankyou for a lovely comment you made my day. Have a good evening everyone
