and for someone to take google away from me.......

Long story short I have been having ear problems for a few weeks which several treatments have not improved. Had a follow up with the doctor yesterday and he has urgently referred me to an ENT and the words tumour and cancer came up a few times. I know its rare and i potentially just need a small procedure to drain and repressurise my ear drum correctly but that hasn't stopped me spending the last 24 hours googling scary shit.

Oh and Hubby's response was 'well that.s highly unlikely. You'll be fine' which kind of felt a little bit dismissive.
