Will this get through airport security?

This might be a daft question! But I'm flying to Spain on Saturday and usually wear a hair stick like the one pictured. It's a bit sharp, so will it get through security in both countries?

UK gov website says knitting needles are OK, so I presume it will, just wondering if anyone has any experience?

Is it wooden? If you are wearing it in your hair, then they won’t see it and it won’t be picked up by the scanner.
