How long does it take to shake off flu

I've been off work for a week already, today is the first day I've actually been able to walk downstairs and I still feel like boulders are dragging me down any time I get up.

I never thought it was possible to feel this ill! When will I start to feel even more human? The worst is definitely over but the fatigue is scaring me a little. I can't eat anything either.

Please tell me it gets better

Oh god I’d forgotten the headaches!! It’s 20 years ago but I can still remember the sound of blood rushing around my head!!! Jesus it was awful, I actually felt I may die.

Sorry, took 4 months or so to feel well and get my weight up again.

I had flu over christmas and new year just gone. I reckon by the end of January I finally felt myself again, it was horrid.
