Hurray Sad

I’m stuffed up, my face is puffy and my nose is sore.

I was sweating last night and I feel so manky!

Also, odd things ache! šŸ˜‚ currently my knees and my arms.

Can I cancel the rest of this week please m’lud?

I have a cold not as bad as yours

MrsPear · 27/09/2018 09:33

Passes tissues - cold too. Skin really sensitive too. Always is with cold plus the general snotty nose, eyes not focusing and fluctuating body temperature. Oh and a need to just sit whilst surrounded by chaos.

Yup! Feeling so sorry for myself. I'm 36 weeks pregnant, this is not what I needed! I'm upset I can't take lemsip Sad

Had it two weeks ago and because I’m so generous I gave it to DPGrin

My dc have all had a rotten cold, I seem to be just fighting it off quite aggressively as I have swollen glands in my neck and similar pain in my stomach that is so painful I have felt sick with it all week. I questioned whether it’s almost like glandular fever (no other symptoms though) or a virus in itself. Mild cold, but not what the dc had. Maybe this is just my body on high immune defence? I am a rubbish patient, I can do one day of feeling ill but then I get bored!

Bumble hot lemon squash? I loved that when I was pregnant.

I'm on my 2nd one Sad. Had a nasty one a few weeks ago that knocked me out for almost a week and gave me conjunctivitis.

Have been chesty and sore throaty the last couple of days so am shovelling Echinacea into me hoping it won't get worse.

PurpleCrazyHorse · 27/09/2018 10:10

We've all got it here. DD was Patient Zero and now DS has it (possibly coupled with some extra bugs from nursery). Both DH and I are feeling rubbish too.

The only solution is to sit on the sofa, drink tea and eat midget gems!

cjt110 · 27/09/2018 10:15

DS started with it - Reception Class germs. I then started with it and DH also has it. We're all suffering and it seems to be sinus based as not much snot appearing from anyone.

DS is still complaining of sore ears - as am I - and poorly heads.
