My niece is due to turn 18 and I am trying to find the 'right' piece of jewellery for her. Criteria:

Silver
Not 'traditionally 'girly' (no hearts & flowers)
Original

And that's as far as I've got! All ideas very welcome!

You might be able to get something (small) from Tiffany’s.

Have you had a look on Etsy?
Maybe you'll find something slightly different on there as a lot of jewellery makers (silversmiths/goldsmith's etc) sell original pieces on there.

If they like more mainstream stuff (trendier) then Tiffany, Pandora or Trollbeads seem to be the go to places for my younger cousins who are into jewellery.

I love pandora and have a number of pieces.

You could get a silver chain with a pendant and matching earrings but the chain can be used for other pendants too.

Their rings are lovely too, and they have plenty that are not 'girly'.

Watching this thread with interest as DD will be 18 in a few weeks.

Thanks - I will check out Etsy!
Have looked at Tiffany but nothing quite fits the bill...

Have a look at Lucy Bradshaw’s website. Lots of lovely things that are not overly girly. I have got dd some stacking bracelets for her birthday which match your description.

Thank you! Lots of ideas.
Etsy is amazing - can't believe I've never looked at it before!

Etsy has been a godsend on many an occasion in my house 🙂

I've recommended the Metal Press on here before. Their jewellery is beautiful and really unusual - just a few bits in silver in the regular list but I think she's open to producing particular items in silver if asked.

declankillen.com/

Declan Killeen has some AMAZING pieces. Based in Ireland but I am in England and he ships quickly and securely.
