Help!! Food for a Christening

Hi! We’re having our baby christened this Saturday. It isn’t a grand affair, just about 60 close family & friends, with about a dozen kids. We’re having the afterwards at a local social club & are doing the food ourselves but I’m increasingly worried about how much to do. The plan atm is ham, egg, cheese & tuna sandwiches with 4 loaves of each. Also mini pork pies, sausage rolls & about 5lb of sausages cooked from the butchers. We also have the Christening cake & a few loaf cakes & some fairy cakes for the kids. Also some soft crisps for the kids. Does this sound enough?

that sounds lovely! just one thing, are there any vegetarians attending? you could do mini kebabs with buffalo mozzarella balls, tomato, cucumber? all the best x

You could do quiche, pizza tastes good hot or cold too

We’ve got one veggie attending, she also eats fish so she’s happy with all the butties except ham. Pizza, thanks almost forgot, cheese & tomatoes pizza is one of the few things my brother in law eats! I’ll get 4 large pizzas. Does it sound enough though? I’d rather have too much than not enough.

Yes that sounds fine, you could always put some salted peanuts and crisps out too

I would say you are not catering well for vegetarians (your friend is a pescatarian not a vegetarian) but if you are sure there are no vegetarian or vegans coming then you are fine. It's all very gluten heavy, what about a dip like hummus and veg sticks?
