Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

No?

soupforbrains · 26/09/2018 13:18

can you elaborate or find the video so we can see it? @mojitointhesun

bit of a vague and pointless thread otherwise...

VodkaRevelation · 26/09/2018 13:20

I'm trying to find the video, but can't! Was on ITV a few minutes ago.

It's advertising serum and mascara.

Cross post!

soupforbrains · 26/09/2018 14:17

if you can't find a link can you at least elaborate about what the ad showed/didn't show that you're questioning? @mojitointhesun

soupforbrains · 27/09/2018 14:31

@mojitointhesun I think I saw the advert you're on about this morning.

Are you really getting all worked up about the fact that the otherwise very attractive model had fine lines under/around her eyes?

You say you're 'all for less airbrushing' what do you think is actually ok to not airbrush out if natural minor signs of aging/laughter lines aren't acceptable??

3luckystars · 27/09/2018 14:33

There wasn’t wrinkles on the tv surely?

Wrinkles and lines on during daytime tv.

mojitointhesun · 27/09/2018 14:42

Pft erm....no. That would make an arsehole, which I'd like to think I'm not.

OP posts:
mojitointhesun · 27/09/2018 14:45

And actually soup, you're the one saying "the otherwise very attractive model" suggesting lines or wrinkles aren't attractive, not me.

I thought it might be obvious. Clearly not.

I’m surprised anyone knows what you’re talking about, given the vagueness of this thread Hmm

SeekingClosure · 27/09/2018 14:50

Why are you being so annoying and combative? Just tell us what it was!

MrsJayy · 27/09/2018 14:55

But what ?

thedogiswearingtartan · 27/09/2018 15:14

Pics or it didn't happen.

soupforbrains · 27/09/2018 15:17

MY response was aiming to encapsulate the tone I thought you would represent.

if it wasn't for the very minimal lines around the model's eyes then what on earth were you so wound up about?

MrsJayy · 27/09/2018 15:17

Is this a sneaky way to get us goggiling mascara ?

soupforbrains · 27/09/2018 15:26

possibly @MrsJay but it probably won't do you mush good I think I've seen the advert in question and even I can't seem to find it online.

MrsJayy · 27/09/2018 15:29

I couldn't find it either but I am now intrigued

3luckystars · 27/09/2018 15:33

Ah tell us!!

mojitointhesun · 27/09/2018 15:39

I'm genuinely not trying to be mysterious. I was hoping people would know what I was on about, so I didn't have to say.

Blush

Bogies!

OP posts:
MrsJayy · 27/09/2018 15:50

raisinsraisins · 27/09/2018 16:00

BlurTomato · 27/09/2018 19:20

Clawdy · 27/09/2018 19:22

An advert with.....bogies?

FluffyMcCloud · 27/09/2018 19:24

Do you work for Maybelline and you are just trying to get everyone to google the ad?!
