Longest-serving username? PLUS freaky numerological coincidence?

Out of curiosity, I used advanced search on my username to find my first post was back in November 2011. Can anyone beat that - same username used continuously for 7 years?

Now the slightly freaky bit: my first post was at 11:11pm on 10 /11/11 and the thread title referenced something happening 11 years previously. Entirely unintentional! (If I'd planned it, I would have waited for 11/11/11 ). Anyway, these pointless coincidences amuse me.

Thanks for reminding me of this thread. I only first got connected to the internet (at home) right at the end of the nineties, so it's amazing to think MN was up and running not long after that, and has been going that long. Our eldest was born early 2002, so at the time of your first posting my DW and I were working on our application to be parents.

lucysmam - looks like you go back to 2008, which is good, but there’s a few still around going back much further.

Late to the party as ever...I’m a lurker more than a poster. Have been using Mumsnet since 2003/2004 but think I had a few different names before settling on ancientgeordiegirl in 2008 so I’m 10+ years with the same name

My oldest I can find is 2012, but I know I had an account way before that, under a different name. I had changed emails and had no access to the old one, got myself locked out somehow and had to start over.
