Longest-serving username? PLUS freaky numerological coincidence?

Out of curiosity, I used advanced search on my username to find my first post was back in November 2011. Can anyone beat that - same username used continuously for 7 years?

Now the slightly freaky bit: my first post was at 11:11pm on 10 /11/11 and the thread title referenced something happening 11 years previously. Entirely unintentional! (If I'd planned it, I would have waited for 11/11/11 ). Anyway, these pointless coincidences amuse me.

witch - of course, this cropped up on the Archers thread, and it chimed nicely with my curiosity about people who have kept their username for a long time, so prompted me to start this thread.

I can't be bother3d to look, but I have been Dumbledoresgirl here since some time in 2006. I had 2 usernames before that.

Now, if you want coincidences with numbers, this will completely out me to anyone who knows me, but my first child was born on the longest day of the year, 21 June. My second child was born exactly 18 months to the day later, on the shortest day of the year, 21 December, and my 3rd child was born at 21:21 (9:21 in the evening). Her DOB is also something like a palindrome, but I am not going to say in what way as I don't want to give out that much info. People have suggested I am a witch!

Further exploring with advanced search, and it seems that there are no posts retrievable from before 28/02/2001 - eg www.mumsnet.com/Talk/going_back_to_work?order=&pg=230

So there must be that one person out there who can usurp SoupDragon!

(I suspect the talk boards existed before then but they have passed beyond human knowledge...).

The earlier posts were all deleted due to sock puppetting and the users were banned. Which was awkward.

Little bump for the weekend to see if anyone can best SoupDragon's record of using the same username since 12 June 2002.

I first joined in 2003 when I had my first child but only came on once or twice before reregistering in 2011. I namechange every month or so.

Yes, LIZS is one of the posters I was thinking of. I’m sure there are a few more too. I’m certainly not the “oldest”.

Hmm, there was a Lizs who posted in 2001, March and August. Then in January 2002, LIZS started posting. I don't know whether change of case should disqualify on a technicality (is it the same person?).

I have been here on and off since 2006. Not sure when I started using this name.

Not been here nearly so long (although I've used this name longer than I thought!). But numerology.. and some letters. My parents could not decide on a name for me, so for the first 5 days of my life I was referred to as a number designation. Which much later made it very easy for me to remember the phone number of the local trash removal company... it was their number. I then went to a Uni whose initials and colours were the same as the trash removal company (at least they formatted them differently, and the Uni came first). However, I did not go into sanitation as a career... (missed signals?)

Still here - joined late 2000/early 2001!

No idea about change of case though, maybe a MN update as it grew?

My old work staff number is the same as my in laws code on their key safe. I'd not met them when i was working at the old firm.
The other day we had to give the key safe number to the carers, all of the in laws family couldn't remember it! I did, obvs.
My staff number at the civil service was an 8 digit number, last 3 are the same as my previous number.

I've been posting under this name since 2008ish. I did start with another one in 2007, and I've had the odd comedy or short lived name change but this has always beeny main name

Case change doesn't matter, rather like an email address. If you search all lowercase both come up.

Ooh my work installed a whole new system and my new completely random computer generated log in code was 040617. 2 weeks later I found out I was pregnant, with a due date of 04/06/17.

Thanks to @DadDadDad for pointing me in the direction of this thread. As far as I can find, my first post seems to have been on 10 July 2001 - www.mumsnet.com/Talk/parenting/261-losing-control. I have had a few interchangeable names over the years for the more "delicate" subjects, but have mostly used this name ever since then. The 4 year old referred to in that thread is now 22 and a trainee accountant - she does sometimes still get mighty angry about things...
