DH , who is unhappy in his job as it is insecure, has an interview for a promising job in Coventry. It would be a big move for us but a good opportunity for him (and the family maybe if it is a stable job). It does mean a paycut and a big upheaval for us as we currently live in rural area near the sea and the kids and I (at least) are very happy here.
I am currently checking what seem to be good areas, schools and house prices and any tips there would be really useful.
I am also very interested in quality of life. We really like our rural life. We can walk everywhere, no commute to wrok to speak of. On the other hand, work opportunities are very limited for me.
So, what´s it like living in Coventry then?
