Breakfast ideas

I'm trying to give up cereal (total addict). I could easily go through a box of shredded wheat bite size.

I'm looking for alternate breakfast ideas. Obviously there is toast but looking for other quick options people chuck together!!

I'm on a kick of having porridge. I use almond milk and I soak it overnight with various toppings / flavoured syrups etc, then microwave it in the morning. I add yoghurt and it keeps me full all morning. I recently found out you could make it savoury as well. Game changer.

Other favourite breakfasts are:

Any kind of egg on a crumpet (nicer than toast!) or rye bread - can add bacon, ham, avocado, tomatoes, mushrooms, whatever. We have a microwave egg poacher and I often stick some toms, mushrooms etc in the cups that aren't being used for eggs, so it's just as quick.

Greek yoghurt with fruit / nuts etc. Can add something like All Bran to this to keep your fibre intake up.

Beans on toast, always a winner.

Lovely. I stupidly assumed porridge came under the cereal category but right enough - it's not so I can continue with that.

I'm not a fan of white bread so will opt for brown versions re bagels etc.

Thanks again. I will miss cereal but you hardly get any in a portion!!!

You can top yoghurt with cereal if you want to. Then you eat less of it!
