Your liquor/bar cart! Advice on mine?

I have some expensive-ish pieces like Chateu D’Yquem and XO Ron Zacapa, also a magnum of champagne which has not been turned into a candle holder.

Which liquors are your fav? What makes a bar cart special to you? For me it’s a place to sit, smoke and write correspondence cards.

What snacks are a must? Show stopper booze? Funky glasses or bar kit? Tasting notebook and pen?

What do you do with your bar cart? I’m just looking for inspiration

Have you not heard of a kitchen cupboard? That's where most people keep drinks and glasses.

If you're really adventurous you could even use a dining room cupboard.

Bombardier25966 I mean, they’re all places to keep your drinks, why not a cart? My husband got it for me as a surprise gift. I like it! I have an African birthing chair my dad made, so I sit there and look out to the garden, we all have our favourite spots, right?

I have a small drinks cupboard from Ikea but we've got too much drink to fit in it.....! I like displaying the nice glasses and looking at the alcohol Smile

Some nice tumblers in there would look good
Toothpicks for making martinis
Cocktail shaker
Maybe a quirky cocktail recipe book

Your bar cupboard has a distinct lack of whiskey (irish) Hmm

BajanRumPunch · 25/09/2018 14:58

TheMarbleFawn ohh, any whiskey recommendations? I know Johnny Walkers, but anything else?

Bar cart? Our booze is in the wine cellar understairs cupboard or in the tall cupboard in the utility room. Amazingly well stocked, having just looked... Grin
