We watched Paddington 2 yesterday which was fab. Any other suggestions please? It’s a long day and can’t face You Tube drivel in the background all day!

Go retro - Ghostbusters, Back to the Future, Goonies, an old James Bond.........

The Bridge to Terabithia on Netflix, we watched it at the weekend and mine are younger but loved it and so did I, although you might need tissues at the end!

I agree with going with classics. The Breakfast club is on netflix. X

ChocolateToast · 25/09/2018 09:49

Just looked up Hunt for the Wilderpeople and The Breakfast Club. They are 12A and 15 certificates. Anything suitable for a ten year old (that I would enjoy too!)

The Iron Giant is brilliant and quite old so he's probably not seen it. It's so cute 😊

Eggoispreggo · 25/09/2018 09:55

Or Who Framed Roger Rabbit!!!

KlutzyDraconequus · 25/09/2018 09:56

There's a film I want to watch in Netflix called 'Next gen'
It looks pretty cool.

That and loads of Steven universe episodes and spongebob. 😁

Eggoispreggo · 25/09/2018 09:57

I used to love The Secret Garden when I was that age, but today's 10 year olds might find that a bit boring.
Oh I loved The Little Princess too but might be girly.
Quite nice thinking of my fave childhood films!

Eggoispreggo · 25/09/2018 09:58

Oh, I don't know why I've assumed your 10 year old is a boy! Apologies if that's completely the wrong assumption.

I also used to love Hocus Pocus?

implantsandaDyson · 25/09/2018 11:36

Kubo and the two strings
The BFG
Pan
Nativity (too soon Grin)
Gangsta Granny
Fantastic Four
Men in Black
They're on Netflix

Mine like tv series : All about the Washingtons, Anne with an E and old series of the Bake Off.

Amazon Prime - ET, Matilda, A Dogs Purpose,

The Iron Giant is fabulous. A bit slow to start off but such a lovely film once it gets going. My 11-year-old loves it.

Djchickpea · 25/09/2018 13:03

Lost in Space - series rather than film

liquidrevolution · 25/09/2018 13:21

greatest showman?

or the film version of ballet shoes with Emma Watson (my 10yo DN is a dance fan...)

BlueChampagne · 25/09/2018 13:23

Netflix: A Series of Unfortunate Events, esp if they've read the books.
