Best Homecare policy? Single mum and can’t risk a winter like last year!

Last winter was a disaster. I’m a single mum, no support network and we ended up without hot water or heating in jan last year and I haemorrhaged money on plumbers. We are moving and I’m determined to get a really good cover in place. Cost isn’t an issue as I’m willing to pay for best cover and service to avoid last year’s scenario! Many thanks

We have Corgi homeplan. They service our boiler annually. The boiler developed a tiny leak the other day, I called at about 9am. By 11 the man was here, went to get a part, fitted it and it was ll well by noon. This isn't the first time, they replaced something else last year too. www.corgihomeplan.co.uk/

I had similar last year and ended up buying a British Gas plan. Their engineer was the 4th to come out and the only one able to fix my boiler, I wasted so much money and time on others who were useless! Anyone can train to be a plumber but British Gas they train for years before being let out on their own (I don’t work for them just was very impressed)

British Gas. You should get a deal on the first year. We basically got the whole inside of our boiler replaced within a few months of it getting taken out.
