What do you mean exactly by "funny stomach"? Are you having actual symptoms or just feeling off?

Tink1990 · 25/09/2018 06:03

Symptoms too. Although calmed down a bit now.

If you're portly you need to stay at home. Don't pass a bug on to everyone/anyone you meet.

Are you nervous about the interviews? My stomach gets upset when I'm nervous/ anxious about things. I take Imodium for it. ( I can tell the difference between the anxious stomach and a bug. Wouldn't go in with a bug)

tutu112 · 25/09/2018 06:12

Could it be nerves? Sometimes I get a jittery tum if I'm a bit anxious or stressed? I'd have lots of water and a slice of toast then see how you feel.

Thanks everyone, I think it may be something i have eaten. Ill stick with the plenty of water and hopefully it passes

If you have diarrhea the best thing to stop is a sachet of dioralite, literally works in minutes for me Grin

Tink1990 · 25/09/2018 06:26

Will that last all day?

If you have cramp, peppermint tea will soothe it.

GreenMeerkat · 25/09/2018 06:28

Peptp bismol works wonders for nausea and diarrhoea. If it's a stomach bug though, the only thing that will fix it is fine unfortunately. Hope you feel better soon

Time*

It would be selfish to pass it on to all the people you are interviewing.

Tink1990 · 25/09/2018 06:47

Thanks for all your replies. Much appreciated. Lots of water is deffo first on the list. Then the peppermint tea!

If you are ill and have a day of seeing lots of people, you need to STAY AWAY. It is truly selfish to possibly pass on a sickness bug a dozen people because you think you are too busy.

You put thr following in danger:
-diabetics

  • immune suppressed
  • elderly
  • infants

The world is not going to end if you don't do these things today. Please don't e selfish and spread it around. Even if it is food poisoning you aren't sure at the moment. It's not responsible or fair.

Sorry a bit late in replying but yes dioralite seems to stop mine in its tracks completely but I always carry a few with me in case! It's safe enough to give to babies, it rebalances your electrolytes and settles your stomach! Helps prevent dehydration Grin
