Weird issues with formatting on here?

Anyone else noticed? My return key doesn't work today.. how the hell am I supposed to start a new paragraph? It worked fine yesterday, works on EVERY other site i'm using, just not this one. help?

Yep, just started happening to me too. V annoying.

Just found the same thing! I can't use return key so can't do paragraphs...am having to do multiple posts instead of one...

glad its not just me.. will report the post and see if MNHQ can help!

Oh I just clicked on this thread to see if it was the return key, as it wasn't working. Mind you it made me keep my post short - I normally ramble

I noticed recently I was getting an extra return when pressing on here and if I tried typing a capital letter after a full stop, it would return... v.weird, now I have no return. its all very strange.

I've just commented on another thread about this. I had gone along the. Usual troubleshooting route with no luck. I was thinking about doing a reset but checked out FB and the return key is working fine there.its a MN issue.

I'm getting it as well, along with massive delays in posting. My device can't handle playing ads as well as me typing it's using up a lot of my mobile data as well just playing ads I don't even want. I can't use adblocker as my device is too old. Yes MN are aware.

I regularly get that I can't persuade a post to post. Usually I close down the thread and re-open it and retype the post (or even cut and paste) but yesterday even that wouldn't work. Just one thread, no new posts allowed!

My return key still isn't working....

Mine neither. I just posted on another thread and realised that I am one of those posters that never uses paragraphs. I did try, honestly.

Post it in site stuff. There’s a thread going there.

I have just done something very clever. I have copied a blank line and return from a document, and then when you need a return key, just paste and you paste a blank line and return. (well, I was pleased!)

I thought it was just me and I'd messed up my laptop somehow. I was going to shut down and restart till I read this. Thanks.

I've had trouble for weeks getting a message to post. It just refuses point blank to do it. It's only on my iPad that I have this problem,it's fine on my cheapo tablet,funnily enough. Also,when I go into the 'I'm on' facility. It keeps freezing repeatedly. Bloody annoying.

Just pasting my post on another thread over here: Me too - was head scratching for quite some time! This has been flagged to tech - hopefully it'll be sorted soon. Seems it's an issue for everyone across the site... Who broke it?! We'll be posting updates in one of the site stuff threads when we know more.
