I never envisioned having to do this but I'm having to pull out of a property sale. I've never done this before - anyone got any experience they can share? Do I just notify all parties and say sorry? Is it likely to get nasty?? BlushBlush

Just tell ea and solicitor. You will get a bill for any legal work done.

Solicitors were appointed but hadn't actually done anything yet so hopefully no charges. It must happen quite a lot trying to make myself feel better

It doesn’t sound like you’re too far in to the sale. Pulling out is never ideal, but better to do it now than two months down the line when everyone’s time and money has been wasted! (I speak as someone who had our buyer pull out the day before exchange last year)! Angry
