How do I report indecent images?

I know someone has dodgy images, and has been sharing them, including ones relating to children.

I don't know this person, but I can point the police to the evidence.

To whom do I report it? Is there a specialist service for this?

Or rather, I don't know them personally. I do know their name and how to find them.

Just phone the police who may take details from you or may advise you who to phone.

Good for you.

Seconding IWF. They work with internet providers too (BT etc).

You can be anonymous.

I had a look at IWF. They seem to be mostly about taking the offending content down, did I understand that correctly?

www.iwf.org.uk/what-we-do/why-we-exist/our-remit-and-vision

The content has been taken down already. But there is evidence of it.

My main concern is not removing the content but that I think the police need to be aware of this person as they sometimes work with young people.

Will IWF investigate the person / make the police aware? Or should I go direct to the police?

I'd call 101 if I were you.

Police. Definitely.

What about Crimestoppers? This person lives in a different town not covered by my local police force.

Or, should I ring their local force?

Did 101, tell them what you’ve said here and they will forward your call to the right people.

Dial, not did.
