Shoes for crawling almost walking babies when outside?

DS is 10 months old. Starting to stand for around 30 seconds unaided, done the odd few steps before falling over. But mainly crawling and a pro at cruising.

He loves getting out and about in the park, crawling around and getting stuck in. But he's now too big for his "snowsuit" with feet built in. I'm stuck what to do next!

Do I bother buying another suit with feet built in when he'll likely be walking soon and I'll just have to buy another that's footless?

Or do I buy some of these pre walker barefoot style shoes? I've never like babies in shoes before they're walking - totally a personal choice! But now it's far too wet and cold to just be in his socks. I would only ever use these when we're out somewhere and he wants to go on the floor.

Anyone any experience/advice?

We had Robeez for Dd, she was walking well at 7 months but rarely outside, maybe a few minutes here and there at the park, or in the garden. They were lovely and soft with suede soles and wokred well till she needed proper shoes.

My boy has those sock moccasins with the suede sole. He loved them. I did too; they were impossible for him to get off.

I bought cruising shoes for my Dd about the same age. Only for using outside though. Barefoot at home.
