I've cooked with slow cookers for years and always loved them. However my latest model is proving very frustrating. Even on the low setting it will boil, rather than keep warm. Last night I put a shoulder of lamb in for dinner today. Dh checked it at 7am and the liquid had dried out and the lamb was starting to burn.
This is a Breville and with previous models I've been able to cook for 24 hrs with no problem. I'm really annoyed as I'd like to have things cooking while I'm at work but it seems the limit for this cooker is 4 -5 hours.
So please, any recommendations for another make, that really does slow cook, would be very welcome.
