Imposter syndrome at work

So I am at a career cross roads. I have been offered 2 really good opportunities. One is to take a role which is potentially a better work life balance but is also a bit dull and feels like a step back. The other is to stay in my current role and get supported for a promotion. Current role is really stimulating and engaging. Hard but I appear to be good at it.

My heart wants to stay and work but my head tells me something has to give as I'm working myself into the ground. Part of the problem is I feel I have to do it all because if I delegate someone will do it better and I'll be exposed as being mediocre. Part is because I don't like conflict so when my direct reports don't do their job properly I fix stuff.

I know to succeed I need to conquer this because deep down I know I am quite good. I also need to be a better boss to my team and bring them up with me.

There is other stuff out of my control which my boss has committed to help me with but this aspect is one which is a real problem. Has anyone dealt with similar or can suggest any reading etc? There is quite a lot of me thinking I should go for the other role as it's 'easier' but I don't think that's the right solution
