I’m really bored, stick in hospital dreaming of the ice things I can eat on discharge! So humour me.
What have you actually eaten today?

I’m affected by meds so poor appetite at present

Breakfast- Lunch. Multiple cups of decaf coffee.
Lunch- 2 seeded crackerbreqds with a handful of grapes
Dinner- Ham salad sandwich
Snack later- I have a yoghurt to eat and a couple of bourbons if I fancy them.

I've just eaten a Danish pastry and a chocolate twist from Tesco bakery Blush. Chips from the chippy for lunch as we were at the beach longer than anticipated. They were yummy though!!

Birdsgottafly · 22/09/2018 19:27

I've had cheese all day. Double Gloucester with onion and herbs, on seeded bread with garlic mayo.

I've just been in a cheese mood.

I'm doing a Beef Stew for tomorrow.

We're awaiting our KFC order. I've been off food all week (ill and on medication that means I have zero appetite). Kids have had chicken and veggie rice but I'll let them share some small fries.

I have a boneless box coming. Don't fancy it now though. This medication is doing wonders for my waistline Grin

dancemom · 22/09/2018 19:32

Eggs and spinach

Homemade vegetable soup with rye bread then some grapes

And I've just finished a plate of chicken, oatcakes, goats cheese, peanut butter, cashews, almonds, blueberries, blackberries and raspberries and another slice of rye bread with butter

Eyeing up the bar of galaxy in the cupboard now ...

Porridge with blueberries and cinnamon.

Carrot soup and a giant crumpet.

A handful of almonds and pecans.

Toad in the hole with onion gravy, swede and carrot mash and peas.

I have homemade apple cake for later but I'm too stuffed right now.

SillyMoomin · 22/09/2018 19:41

I’ve been healthy all day. Scrambled eggs and mushrooms, then homemade vegetable soup for lunch and ratatouille and grilled salmon for dinner. Was just celebrating that I’ve come in under 1100 calories today when I realised I NEEDED cake. Right now. RIGHT NOW

Apart from because I’m on a diet and can’t trust myself to have treats in the house, I had zilch in the cupboards. So to my horror, I found myself baking a Victoria sponge. Whole thing from getting off the sofa to mixing baking and then taking half the cake back with me to the sofa again took about 45 mins. I’m horrified

BUT IT WAS SO GOOD!!

Get better soon op

AuntieStella · 22/09/2018 19:42

One slice stoneground wholemeal toast with butter and marmite for breakfast.

Medium banana, homemade flap jack, multugrain ryvita with butter and marmite for a cross between light lunch and post-run snack

Lamb kebabs, hummus, peas and salad for dinner, with cava.

Just wondering whether to nibble a piece of cheese or hit the ice cream to round the day off.

AuntieStella · 22/09/2018 19:43

SillyMoomin that sounds awesome!

Rice Krispie cakes are also alarming quick to make [bitter, or should that be sweet, emoticon]

Heismyopendoor · 22/09/2018 19:44

Breakfast- a tortilla wrap filled with two bacon medallions and 1 1/2 scrambled eggs done with a little bit of cheese.

Late lunch/early dinner half a big tasty from McDonald’s and half a portion of large fries with some chicken nuggets.

Exciting 😂😂

FinallyHere · 22/09/2018 19:44

Mmmmm, last night we went out, started with a meze including calamari, prawns, spicy sausage, hummus, tzatziki, cucumber and warm pita bread Mmmmm

Char grilled lamb chops and feta salad for me, whole grilled sea bream, salad and chips for him.

(Does that help at all? ).
