Pillow help!

Do you have comfy pillows? I need your help!

I have a permanent crick in my neck thanks to our rubbish pillows. They need replaced ASAP. Can anyone recommend good comfy pillows (medium/firm) that won't break the bank?
Bonus points if they're king size pillows to fill the space on a super king sized bed a bit better.

Latex pillows but they're £60 each and worth every penny.

What do you mean by comfortable. I paid 50 quid for also called firm goose one or something but its mush.

People recommend buckwheat pillows. For very firm.

Latex here too, few years old from John Lewis.

I tried buckwheat and it made my neck worse. Although I do like the rustling sea sound you get from them!

Bombardier25966 · 23/09/2018 14:42

And remember you should only need one pillow each. If you're having more then they're not doing their job properly.

JL don't have their own brand latex pillow in at the moment. Have a feeling it's something they do as a special buy in the sales.

I have an otty pillow it's fabulous really comfy and I never wake up with a sore neck. Think there's a 100 night trial on them.

TheMarbleFaun · 23/09/2018 15:35

Why only one pillow Bombardier?

cocoallure · 23/09/2018 15:51

I have an eve pillow and love it, I now only sleep with one and it's so much better

ProudThrilledHappy · 23/09/2018 15:55

I have the same problem op and I picked up a kidney bean shaped memory foam pillow in costco for £30, was extravagent at the time but I’ve not had to take a day off with back pain since

ChishandFips33 · 23/09/2018 16:10

I have tempur, down, synthetic but finally settled on IKEA - mid priced ones

FTFF · 23/09/2018 18:01

I'm such a restless sleeper and have a huge variety of pillows. 0 pillows when I sleep on my front, 1-2 on my side and sometimes 3 when I sleep on my back. No wonder my neck is in bits.
Thank you for the recommendations, I'll have a look at the ones mentioned and hopefully get a good nights sleep soon.

I had this trauma when we changed to a firmer mattress and my lovely pillow was no longer right

The cricked neck and lack of sleep was awful and I spent a fortune but finally found the right combination

Best of luck

Namethecat · 23/09/2018 20:17

I'm also forever hunting the perfect pillow. My dh treated me to a Tempur one last year ( expensive ) and I've kept with it but Tbh it's not the one

DontGoIntoTheLongGrass · 23/09/2018 20:22

Otty 100%. My husband has back issues and I have neck issues and they are the most amazing memory foam pillows I've ever had. Our issues are loads better from just one night with the pillows and mattress. Bought in January and still fantastic Smile

FoodGloriousFud · 23/09/2018 23:11

We have, and LOVE Tempur ones. Expensive but so worth it.

StatisticallyChallenged · 23/09/2018 23:30

Another vote for latex - absolutely brilliant.

Sweetiedarlingletmein · 23/09/2018 23:39

We’ve got Tempur ones too. Love them!

giveyourselfashiny3 · 24/09/2018 10:51

Ikea pillows are good!
