Shopping, could definitely get a few bits with that!

CarolDanvers · 22/09/2018 13:06

Flights.

  • save for Christmas
  • book weekend away
  • improve living space
  • update technology owned
  • update clothes owned
  • designer handbag

If in doubt, think for longer.

£400 rainy day money tucked away for emergencies.
£200 put by until I had something I wanted or needed. I don't let money burn a hole in my pocket.

Disfordarkchocolate · 22/09/2018 13:09

Trip to see my lovely grandaughter.

IsTheRainEverComingBack · 22/09/2018 13:10

Right now I would put it towards my wedding/honeymoon.

In your case maybe a holiday? Or furniture depending on how yours is.

HeyNumber2 · 22/09/2018 13:10

Spa day/stay 💕💕💕 have fun!!!

PurpleTigerLove · 22/09/2018 13:35

If I owed £500 I’d pay that off first . You don’t have to spend it as soon as you get it . Keep it until you need / want something .

PurpleTigerLove · 22/09/2018 13:36

I’d buy a painting .

TheQueef · 22/09/2018 13:38

I would clear the 500 too.
Ok no fun but you have saved a monthly bill and still have the cc if needed.

Disclaimer am auld.

MyDcAreMarvel · 22/09/2018 13:39

You have £100 not £600, understanding that concept will benefit you the most.

Thumbcat · 22/09/2018 13:45

I'd pay off the credit card and use the rest to go out for dinner. If there was no credit card debt I'd have a weekend away.

FrontRowSeat · 22/09/2018 13:47

Botox and a few Charlotte Tilbury eyeshadows (shallow) Smile

Nothisispatrick · 22/09/2018 13:48

At this moment in time I would spend it on clothes shopping. About to have my first baby and realistically I need winter clothes that will accommodate my post baby body!

Outside of that I would spend it on a weekend away in a spa hotel with DP.

Theknacktoflying · 22/09/2018 13:51

Pay off my debt and buy myself something small but a treat (basket of treats for the family)

SaffyLoo · 22/09/2018 14:49

Some fab suggestions thank you all

Credit card-probably the wisest choice
..tempted to pay off £400 cc and give myself a nice handbag with the remainder!

Thanks everyone

Honestly at this time off year I’d have a splurge on and new coat, some winter boots and a cashmere jumper. Lucky you!

BrokenWing · 22/09/2018 14:56

Right now it would go in the bank until needed.

Would either go into bathroom which needs replaced or into savings for 14 year olds future expenses (driving lessons, uni, etc)

NerrSnerr · 22/09/2018 15:43

I'd buy a really good tent.

Pooleschoolschoice · 22/09/2018 15:44

Longleat annual pass.

summerlovingliz · 22/09/2018 15:45

A centre parks weekend Smile

flopsyrabbit1 · 22/09/2018 16:14

if your on a key meter £100 on the gas so you have a good reserve for winter

£150 of credit card

slurge the rest clothes/home etc

sadeyedladyofthelowlands63 · 22/09/2018 16:18

I'd pay off the credit card (then it's available again if you need it) and go out for a nice meal.

Yogagirl123 · 22/09/2018 16:19

I would buy a new shed, mine is falling to pieces!

PixieMiss · 22/09/2018 16:24

A tattoo or a trip to Amsterdam!
