To paint a child's bedroom with kitchen&bathroom paint? Would the shininess look ridiculous?

No advice, but could you do a test patch?

I'd worry that the full shiny glory would only be revealed once a huge area was painted. Hmm

We did that not because it was that type of paint but because we really like the colour and had a big tin in the house. You literally can't tell it is kitchen/bathroom paint. Go for it

I've used that paint in my kids room cos it's wipeable!
