Would you throw this food away?

My house has had 2 days this week without power. About 8 hours each time. Monday and Weds. Would you throw away any meat in the fridge/freezer? The door wasn't opened so may have stayed cold.

No I wouldn't, the hours wouldn't be enough to defrost totally

I'd probably throw anything that was chicken, but that's because I'm super funny about chicken. Other than that, no I wouldn't.

No I wouldn't. Have you got any ice lollies in there? They're a good indicator of how defrosted it became.

But either way, it was very unlikely to have reached over 5*c so little to no opportunity for bacterial growth. You'll be fine.
