What to do? Train from Kings Cross at 330pm. It’s raining.

Did British Museum yesterday. He’s shattered. I thought there might be something in the station as they’ve improved it so much

Don't overstretch or do too much really.. MAYBE just people watch on the station

Umm, there’s nice shops and cafes. If you walk over to st pancras (just next door) there’s a yo sushi (see the plates go round) plus a patisserie Valerie (have a fancy cake) plus see the Eurostar trains if you walk to the top level. Might all kill a bit of time. Good luck!

Mediumred · 22/09/2018 12:25

Ooh or there’s a hatchards in st pancras with a lovely Children’s book section, have a flick through the books. Also next to the amazing building of the crick institute, but not sure if you can go in, might have a free exhibition on at the British library

have a look at the canal...pretty sure that's not far round the back of the station, also think it's quite the social area so you might be lucky to get a nice table, so you can chill out with drinks and cakes and just watch the world go by.

PrincessTwilightStoleMyToddler · 22/09/2018 12:35

Lots of yo sushi’s do free lunch for kids (if you spend a tenner or something - so easily done!) and my toddler thinks it’s brilliant in there as there is food going round all the time (and edamame beans are her favourite “treat” veg). That and a wander round is easily 2 hours.

We always just go and mess around in Hamleys. Smile
