Hi my 2 year old child had a very very mild case of chicken pox about 4 weeks ago. She had no rash, no fever but had about 10 nasty pox spots over her legs and arms. The doctor said it could have been the pox but it did not get worse.
Finally over 14 days she then developes a rash on her Bottom which looked like nappy rash this rash has now spread to her legs. ( Doctor said this could be due to teething) We have treated it with creams. It faintly goes away and comes back as soon as you wash her with warm/cool water and cotton swabs. It doesn't seem to bother her. We are changing her nappy as soon as she has a pee but it doesn't seem to be going away even with steroid cream from the doctor. She also has a nasty rash on her bottom lip and chin due to teething and dribbling. BUT noticed the other day that she is now covered in tiny small spot type lumps over her body. They are raised but not red or sore just skin colour. She is not scratching them either.
She seems well in herself.
Can anyone help. I'm getting very worried it could be something very nasty.
Thank you for all your advice.
