What's keeping you awake?

I've been awake since 3 and my mind is presenting me with a Greatest Hits of traumas, betrayals and regrets. Currently stewing over an argument I had with my best friend 26 years ago. Also my pyjama bottoms seem to have shrunk in the wash.

Oh not much really, I'm just awake. I can't make the local shop realise that I was completely traumatised by sleepwalking there in my nightware recently so when I went in an hour ago they said 'hello, sleepwalker' and I quite crossly stated that I was awake.

Actually they're going to make me confused if I'm asleep or awake

Been awake since 4.50, worrying over money/saving. Every time I save anything it just goes, term dinner money, swim lesson etc there never seems to be enough fun money .BUT it’s ridiculous because I do get to do mainly what I want to do, I just worry over having a cushion( having been a LP for years, my mind seems to want me to wake up and believe that I should be saving for when This Dp ups and leaves?!?!) crazy

I'm working. Just waiting for the early shift to arrive then it'll be home to bed - can't wait

ChinUpShouldersBack · 22/09/2018 06:17

Awake since 4.45.
Cheap hotel and the bee's hard. The pull switch light from next door's bathroom is really loud and they're in and out. The bell from the clock tower. Someone's phone is on a wooden surface on vibrate and they're either running Pokemon Go or very popular. And there's an owl. A really loud owl.
And that's before the mental stresses.

Bed's
Though bees wouldn't surprise me.

Brain buzzed all night in and out of light sleep. "Woke" up as if I've not been to bed. Ds9 wants to go to boarding school from next September 2019 and I cannot think/worry about anything else. One minute yes, next minute if I support the decision I'm will ruin his emotional life forever. Meanwhile I've had days of obsessive worrying and now I'm not sleeping!! Good luck baby ladies, takes me back to my hypnobirthing days.

Woken up at 3:24 by the marten coming home - drunk and wearing clogs by the sound of it; which in turn woke the cat, who still thinks he can catch it; cat got hungry by the exercise - running around the flat staring at the ceiling - and then needed a cuddle.
So I watched shirt sewing tutorials on you tube till it was time to get up.

All the best to everybody who's having a baby!

Our local Facebook Aurora watching group didn’t post much last night. I can share this one though.

Any baby news?

I wake up around this time most mornings - I blame my menopausal hormones. The reason I can't get back to sleep is I am stewing over an argument from several years ago with someone who completely stabbed me in the back. Really not worth losing sleep over so am winding myself up by doing so....
Hopefully my eyes will grow tired soon as the alarm will be waking me up in 2 hours.
Good luck ladies btw xxx
