Online graphic design course?

Hi I need a hobby and fancy learning some graphic design. I'm a lone parent so unable to attend classes. I wondered if anyone can recommend a good course. Fancy something structured with possible qualification, rather than just looking on YouTube.

I'm pretty much a beginner. Only really messed about with Microsoft office products rather than proper stuff.

I don't know about courses but will advise you that design is best done on a Mac and the software licences can be quite expensive.
