Can anyone recommend a book of English exercises for Chinese lady trying to learn English?

A lady I know is trying to learn english through the Cambridge course but she's struggling. It's a bit odd because her vocabulary is really good, university level, but she struggles very badly with basic verb use ( I imagine Chinese is very differently structured!)

Has anyone had experience of any basic grammar -exercise- books? she has some grammar theory books but she needs practise, practise, practise.

Ive looked at Amazon but if anyone's had any experience of TEFL and found any good books, that'd be great

Thanks =)

Any of the Grammar In Use books (Cambridge). Depending on her level:

Essential Grammar In Use
English Grammar In Use
Advanced Grammar In Use

Each grammar point has an explanatory theory page followed by a page of exercises. It's the one my colleagues and I always use with our students, either in class or for self-study.
