Tramadol + morphine. Not a good combo

Just that really. I have horrible ear pain, due to the prosthetic bones that I had fitted a year ago moving, having an MRI tomorrow to see what going on, will probably need another op.
Anyway, I have been prescribed a slow release morphine tablet twice a day plus tramadol up to 4 times a day.
I took my morphine about an hour ago, along with two tramadol (100mg), and now I feel bloody awful, my jaw keeps clenching like Kerry Katona that time on This Morning, my mouth is really dry and I feel very ’out of body’ - can’t really describe what I mean, but I feel weird. and I have a massive morphine headache.
How long is this going to last? I’ve felt woozy before on this drug combo but never this bad!

My understanding is that tramadol and morphine are similar to each other so should not be taken together. Could you get to the pharmacy or ask your doctor for phone appointment?

I think I’ll just have to ride it out. They are similar but my GP said they’re fine to take together - I also wear a morphine patch!
Feel really shaky & sick. And the ear pain is just as bad!
I’ve taken these tablets every day for weeks, but usually take the morphine as soon as I wake up & then the tramadol at least an hour later. Today I took them together. Lesson learned.
Wish this sick feeling would go away though. Hopefully soon.

Tramadol make me feel like that normally. I either sleep or eat a fuck ton of carbs and that seems to ‘settle’ everything a bit.
