Share your experiences of visiting a psychic

I’ve got an opportunity to visit a psychic, she’s supposed to be very good.

I think the whole thing’s a load of crap but there’s no denying that the things she’s told my cousin we’re accurate.

I think they’re good at reading people, picking up cues, throwing out a vague statement and then following your lead. I’m intrigued though, I’d like to just see for myself.

Has anyone had any woo moments with one or did you find it a load of tosh?

I also don’t like the fact that most people visit them if they’re bereaved or lost and at a low point in their lives.

Sorry but I think they are full of shit. They’re great at reading body language and clues you give out. I think they are almost all exploitative and only out for money.

If you do go then make sure any social media profiles have tight security.

How much are you paying her? Would you cheerfully burn that amount of money in an ashtray while someone told you they were getting a message from an older man, initial maybe M, or J, maybe some trouble with his heart, or maybe lungs, but he’s watching over you, either way?

Some friends and I went a few months back to a local one being held in the village hall.

I wasn’t expecting too much from it, barring it being something to do - plus the tickets cost £5 which included the buffet 😂

Anyway, we all had a 5 min reading from the same guy and it turned out pretty interesting.

He seemed to pick up on marital problems, family bereavements including my own. The people who we were sat with on the table were coming back shocked at how accurate he seemed to be.

The one thing I remember, is him saying to me that my nana is making me a cup of tea but she’s saying she hasn’t got much sugar.

When she was dying, I visited often and ended up bringing my own sugar because she didn’t usually keep any.

I found it comforting and very strange. How on earth would he know that?

I know a lot of people think it’s a load of shit. However, the comfort it brought to my mum and I was worth more than anything in the world.

STOP

Before you go.....watch Derren Brown
On you tube. There's a show he does that discredits psychics....very heartfelt and honest. He says these people think they are gifted when actually some are phonies and others have the skill set to read people like he does..,.but it doesn't mean they can predict the future

I’ve watched the Darren Brown programme and I agree with you all that it’s a load of crap but I’m still intrigued to go just to see exactly how the whole manipulation works.

My cousin has come away feeling utterly convinced by it and I’ve been telling her it’s rubbish but I’ve never experienced it myself.

I wish I could experience it without linin their pocket!

I’ve been to three now (none paid for by me, my sister in law believes them so makes me go with her) the second one was rubbish, however the first and last ones were good. All three have told me I’m going to move abroad (very vague really and my husband would never do it) but the third one said some fairly accurate things not about me but about somewhere we have lived.
I used to wholeheartedly believe it even doing my own tarot readings through high school, but I now do research on Victoria. Psychics for a living so yeah, don’t believe a word Grin
If you are going I wouldn’t pay more than £15-£20 though - just in case it’s a complete waste.
