Finding work so stressful at the moment

I am so miserable at work at the moment and I don't know how to push through.

I have been working very hard but a few mistakes have crept in and it's just left me miserable. It's a stressful but creative environment and I feel like a ghost at the moment. I'm not enjoying it and I'm finding it hard to get projects through to completion.

It's heading into the busiest time of year and I'm just not sure how to keep the wheels all turning for the next few weeks until I can take time off at Christmas.

I feel like I've lost confidence that I'm good at my job and I don't know how to pick it up again. It's not the kind of place where there is lots of positive praise so the majority of feedback I get tends to be negative.

Anyone got any tips for ploughing on until the end of the year?

Sympathy from me, OP.

I’m currently taking a bit of a career break -similar to you, worked in a creative but high pressure environment.

I just felt overwhelmed and I’m now trying to decide what to do next. It’s shit when you don’t feel that “passion” anymore.

Is your boss/line manager supportive? Can you discuss your workload with them?
