Have been using tampax original and pearl and not really getting on great with either..
Would prefer an applicator type. Thanks :)

I use lillets applicator tampons

NeverHadANickname · 20/09/2018 19:19

I like Morrisons own brand. I use the super and regular ones.

What is it you don't like about them OP? Going in / coming out?

Lillets, I used the non applicator ones but they do ones with applicators as well. Boots own brand are quite good as well.

I disliked how most tampons now seem to have a plastic applicator. I think it was aldi or lidl where I found better ones. But then I got a mooncup. I've always been sceptical but honestly- a complete game changer.

gamesconsoler · 20/09/2018 19:26

I find Lil lets non-applicator much better than others I have tried.

I've found superdrug own non applicator the easiest to use. Cheap, very pointy, and quite slim. I've never got on with tampax.

PJBanana · 20/09/2018 20:23

I used to prefer Lilets non applicator tampons to any with an applicator. Just found them easier to use.

Then I discovered my mooncup and haven’t used tampons in over a year. I don’t miss them!

I bought a menstrual cup off ebay for £3. I love it. You only need to empty it once a day.

It's like your not even having a period.

PLEASE tell me it was unused?!

Fluffycloudland77 · 20/09/2018 21:09

Of course. It was a business seller.

Littlelambpeep · 21/09/2018 19:00

Thank You all... I would really like to try the mooncup but something is putting me off trying them? But going to give one a go.
I just find after two babies flow is heavier and tampon slips. Way too much info I know !!! Had c sections so don't think it is from birth injury though.

Tampax Pearl - but only when they're on offer as they're pricey.

They're the best for avoiding that nasty situation on less heavy days whereby you don't insert the tampon far enough and you can keep feeling it 'pushing down'. No bueno!
