Christmas abroad

Hi all!

My OH has booked us a holiday abroad that falls over Christmas Day! We return Boxing Day.

Have you ever spent Christmas abroad with little ones and if so, how/what do you do in regards to Christmas presents?

I don't want the risk and hassle of taking it all abroad but also don't want my little one to feel he has missed out of the excitement of opening presents under the tree Christmas morning!?

Would love to hear how others have planned this :) although I'm sure he can't complain to waking up in a hot country and spend Christmas Day in the pool all day xx

we took 3 or 4 presents in the suitcase, then wrote a note from 'santa' explaining that the rest of their gifts were at home. have fun!

As Sleep.. said. But we only took one present for our DC and rest were at home
