Progress of potty training dd!

On day 2 of potty traing,shes 3 and seems ready. Yesterday she held her pee all day snd a poo in potty. Today she has wee'd a tiny amount 3 times after taking herself to potty and 2 accidents both of whuch she refused to sit on potty and was crying snd upset, should i wait or persevere?

Sometimes shes willingly going others shes refusing while knowing shes weeing.

Is this normal for day 2?

I am in the middle of potty training my ds who is 2( nearly 3). Your dd sounds about the same as my ds.
Day 1 he held it almost the ful day then peed all night through his nappy and over the bed
Day 2 he did okay only 2 accidents. He has a singing potty so that gives him extra encouragement, so he clicked straying away.
A thread on here said it is best to keep them completely naked until they click with it. Which really worked for us. We also have a potty book we read.
But like your wee one he is terrified of when he needs a poo. He panicks and grabs a nappy.
I am just sticking with it though for now.

Stuck with it. My wee boy sussed it on day 4. Still in nighttime nappies though, but 3 week starts on we’re completely dry through the day. Stickers as a reward worked for us :)

If mms say stick with it. They'll soon get it and especially at this age it's a lot easier for them to understand. I've just trained my 3 year old and she's doing well. She holds it in a lot and poos are done in her nappy.

Stick with it, it can feel like you are getting no where and one day it just clicks.
