So official move date is one week today eek! 😁😁 just wondering how to get off on a good start with the neighbours I've seen an old guy on one side with a wee kid. Should I just wait for an opportunity when we are both in garden or knock on door and introduce myself? (Sounds a bit up myself) 😂😂

Good luck with the move! As for neighbours. I have always just made a point of having a chat when I have seen them out and about and in their garden. When I first moved I also wrote down all their names and which house they were in!

Ahh good idea. The neighbours seem nice 😊

Smile, say good morning or whatever, don't park across their drive, don't allow your kids to run wild, don't have noisy parties, don't mow the lawn at silly o'clock. Think that should cover itGrin
Enjoy your new home.

Don't drive so no worries there 😂 and my DD would rather do gymnastics on her equipment than run 😂 it's the mad bitey baby that worries me 😂

Due to the strange layout of our street there are four drives that share one access route so I knew that the removal lorry was likely to block it for the duration. I popped round the day before to introduce myself and drop off a bottle of wine by way of apology in advance and give my number in case they ended up blocked in.

The wine was well received and the neighbours were all very lovely about the inconvenience.
