Asda do the absolute best bedding! I have a jungle animal, sassy dinosaurs and unicorn ones!

Gold dinosaur models

The odd unicorn

That petrol colour (bluey purpely changes colour when you look at it) is my current obsession and doesn’t my house know it 😂

Life is to short for grown up stuff 😏

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 20/09/2018 13:23

heymicky where is that art from?! That’s the most perfect goft ever for a friend

HeyMicky · 20/09/2018 13:26

@IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece The artist is David Irvine - he puts all kind of pop culture figures into terrible landscapes he finds in charity shops

CheddarIsNotTheOnlyCheese · 20/09/2018 14:55

Stabby did you buy that off Facebook? Does it look great in a child's bedroom?

MakeYourOwnFuckingTea · 20/09/2018 14:58

Erm I posted the Michael Jackson doll on here. Blush www.mumsnet.com/Talk/_chat/3361690-new-Facebook-shite-tat-page-Xmas-edition?pg=3&order=
I thought it was handmade. and creepily accurate

purpleunicorns · 20/09/2018 15:04

Pyjamas with skateboarding dinosaurs on them. In fact all my PJs are childish cool. And unicorns all over, including a unicorn head on my living room wall Grin

Deathraystare · 20/09/2018 15:07

Hah! I don't feel so bad then for having a 'Cartman' from Southpark toy and a Minion toy as well (not sure which one). Oh and a couple of trolls. The Damm ones.

BitchesLeave · 20/09/2018 15:30

Well, this is genuinely outing if anyone on here has ever been to my house.

Oh dear. So many. My house looks like a scifi obsessed 10 year old was given free rein and an unlimited budget to decorate.

I collect vintage robots and ray guns. So I have a bookcase full of robots and a wall of ray guns to start with. And some mini shelves with my favourite mini-robot/pacman/space rocket wind up toys on them.

Other tat includes hideous dolls and a CocaCola boy money box that are the stuff of all right thinking people's nightmares.

A 2.5 foot high orange plastic light in the shape of a giant gummy bear.

Fairly lights of various types including mine and DD's names.

A fucking massive x-wing.

Vintage toys from favourite cartoons including Thundercats and She-ra (Princess of Power!). Loads of Marvel/DC knick-knacks including my much prized Wonder Woman shield that has discs in it I can shoot at my 12 year old when she annoys me.

So many childish mugs.

Bedside lamp that is a light up spaceman. Tetris light.

LEGO collection (though that is one of my DD's rooms so it sort of looks like it's hers, a bit of it is, most of it is mine).

I'm currently wearing customised Vans that were my 40th birthday present. They have a print of ray guns on them.

My birthday card from DP is still up, as it is a customised Spider-Man one and it makes me very happy.

I also have a poster that needs framing for the top of the stairs that says 'Always be yourself, unless you can be Spider-Man, then always be Spider-Man' on it.

This is not an exhaustive list. I am 40.

TheQueef · 20/09/2018 15:43

Bitches that is the first genuinely outing hobby I have seen on mnet. Grin

MakeYourOwnFuckingTea · 20/09/2018 15:46

Bitches have you ever been to Fab Cafe in Manchester? If not you should. I can guarantee you would bloody love it. ShockGrin

DwayneDibbly · 20/09/2018 15:52

Love the Asda duvet covers, some of the stuff is already sold out online. Sad

Fiffyshadesofgreymatter · 20/09/2018 15:58

Replica fifth element stones proudly on display in the living room.

Fossilized claw of a raptor... I feel shame every time I think about what it cost but it's awesome!

IthinkIsawahairbrushbackthere · 20/09/2018 16:24

I have to two tall display cabinets filled with Steiff and other vintage toys, a large wooden rocking horse (strong enough to hold an adult), a metal horse on wheels and a vintage doll's pushchair all in my living room. For Mother's Day my kids bought me a 4ft tall teddy bear that sits in the vintage desk chair at the desk.

ZanyMobster · 20/09/2018 16:33

Tinkerbell soft toy on my bed. Minnie Mouse pen with giant ears for work. Frozen lunch bag Grin

stabbybitch · 20/09/2018 16:37

No I did see you post that the other day, this one is smaller! No my brother brought him on eBay, don't think he's hand made either.
