Frying beef mince from frozen!

I forgot to take the mince out of the freezer so basically stuck it in the pan as a frozen block and just fried it until it was cooked! It's now in the slow cooker with other things. Is it acceptable? 😬

Yeah I’ve done this plenty and am still alive.

flamingofridays · 20/09/2018 12:19

yes fine, you can buy frozen mince and cook it straight away so cant see home frozen being any different!

Comfortandjoy · 20/09/2018 12:20

Always do this , no problems .

Yes I do this. I find scraping the browned bits off the frozen slab as it cooks really satisfying.

Yep absolutely fine, there's been many nights we have come home to find we thought the other had taken it out. We are both still alive so no need to worry. Grin

I regularly do this.

I even freeze cook in the bag chicken and cook that from frozen, I'm a rebel.

Bluesheep8 · 20/09/2018 12:42

Yep, I've done it regularly for years.
