What age did your child go into a bed? is 12m too young?

Currently co sleeping. Don't have much room in child's bedroom. There's a bed in there already - would moving into bed be ok from 12m onwards?

If you think your child is ready to go into a bed then go for it :) My friend put her first in a bed when he was around 1, no bed guard or anything and only fell out of bed once. My son went into a bed when he had not long turned 2. He's 2 and 4 months now and I still wouldnt trust him in a bed with no bed guard! Just depends on the child :)

Thx. I'll get a bed guard and see how it goes. My others were alot older at 2.5 and 3!
