My babies 1st birthday

I'm looking for ideas on what to do for my dds first birthday. A party is out of the question as I find it pointless at this age. What can I do with just dd and dh for her birthday?

With all due respect most things are pointless at that age Blush but I'd maybe him to softplay (for her) and then somewhere nice for tea and cake (for you and DH)

Go to an aquarium? A zoo? A Michelin starred meal? We did all of those things around the time our son turned one - me and my husband had a good time and the baby enjoyed being in new environments. We also had a small family party which he seemed to enjoy too, so any activity you do with him is either pointless or enjoyable for your baby depending on your viewpoint :)

Soft play/zoo/farm/aquarium/museum and a meal?

We did soft play and a meal for DD1. DD2 will get similar.
