Looking for a gym weights programme on Instagram or similar please?

Can anyone recommend someone to follow on Instagram or similar for a programme to do in the gym please? I want to focus on weights with a bit of cardio, but mainly weights. I don't even know if such a thing exists but, as my kids seem to be able to find almost anything online, I thought I'd ask for a recommendation. It needs to be easy to use and easy to follow for a creaky 54 year old...Grin

I couldn't say about Instagram, but the Chloe Madeley app, weights for women is brilliant,

Kayla Itsines is excellent

Biggest tip I can give you with weights is go heavier than you think you’ll be able to manage. You need to challenge yourself to see results.

Try stronglift 5x5 if you want to get strong.

I'd suggest getting a single session with a PT, some gyms offer this as a freebie.

Get them to show you proper form for squats and deadlifts, and the rest you can get from YouTube or even on the Facebook pages of Kayla Itsines and the like.

Good luck!

Try searching it on Pinterest, might find some good links?

Or get your children on the case Grin

I’m getting good results from using heavy hand weights and a step in the gym.

Beachbody.com had a great programme I've been following called LIIFT4. It's an 8 week programme and you follow a video - 4 work outs a week. It is a paid content thing though. I've lost weight and gained muscle/tone. Good luck with your training.

Anna Victoria and Kelsey Wells are good to follow for workout ideas. If you’re new I would second the recommendation to have 1 PT session to get the form right before you start on your own.

Thank you all - some great advice and tips there. Have been toying with the idea of a PT for one session so you've spurred me on to arrange it. Thanks again.

I’ve just discovered Alexia Clark, her workouts look great.
