Emergency supplies

So was woken up by the wind at 4am and having to tie down the neighbors out of control trampoline. We had to search for rope and look for a torch! It made me think I should just have a box of things like this for emergencies/ winter days. Does anyone else have one of these and what do you keep in it?

Yep I have a smallish old tool box.
Torch, ( don't store the batteries in it in case they leak) extra batteries.
Wind up lamp ( unfortunately not very bright )
Candles & matches
Small camping stove and gas.
Bottled water.
£100
Strips of double sided , male- female Velcro.this can be used for holding things up/down/ together. Even if things are wet or greasy.
Basic 1st aid stuff , keep a eye on sell by dates.
String for when Velcro won't do.
Also around the house but not kept in the box there is tow rope, reasonable selection of basic DIY tools , fuses, washers ,electrical tape, etc.
A fairly recent edition wears a large bag of cat litter as a friend of mine had a leak and found it very useful for absorbing water quickly even on carpet.

UHT milk
Tea bags
Coffee
pasta
Pasta sauce
Tinned Tomatoes
Tuna
Part baked rolls
Rice
Tinned veg
Baked beans
Corned beef
Bottled water
Squash
Cereal bars
Porridge oats

If we're snowed in then I don't need to rush to the shops for supplies.
